It's like a movie.

Pictured is an example of a fuel source, enriched plutonium. It has a predictable and constant rate of decay. When it decays, it releases energy in the form of heat.

I have a secret confidante in high places who told me about a pellet. About the size of a grain of rice, it "decays" or breaks down releasing a steady stream of psychotropic substances. Like a layered smoothie, the pellet releases these substances sequentially, and while not plutonium, the pellet is sitting somewhere in your body, it's slowly decaying creating highs and lows and laughs and tears, sleeps and wakes, second by second for twenty continuous years.

Every second of your life addressed chemically, to clock-like precision.
